Laura Silva is a versatile pianist native from Caracas, Venezuela. She is currently a graduate assistantship at Ohio University School of Music as a piano group instructor and a collaborative pianist, where she is pursuing a master’s degree of Piano Performance and Pedagogy with Dr. Christopher Fisher. She holds degrees from the Juan Jose Landaeta Conservatory, Central University of Venezuela (Bachelor in Social Psychology) and a Master of Music from the Simon Bolivar University. ​ Laura is developing Piano Ensembles for the Athens Community School of Music, project that she started in 2014 at Mozarteum Caracas School of Music. Recently, she has published two elementary level arrangements for piano ensembles with Piano Safari.

       As part of her artistic career, Laura has held principal piano positions with the most recognized institutions in Venezuela like El Sistema and Schola Cantorum of Venezuela, and has had the opportunity to participate in important festivals and concerts in Europe, Asia and the United States.
